I brought my kid here for a late lunch on a Monday when school was not in session, so it was almost empty. Our server was great, the food was solid, and we had our pick of the tables. We were pleased with the food and service and can only imagine how packed it gets on the weekend when the students are here for the semester.

The staff is super welcoming and attentive. They make you feel right at home and are happy to chat or offer recommendations if you're not sure what to order! Overall, if you're looking for a low-key spot to hang out and grab some good food and drinks, then this is the perfect choice. It's the kind of place you'll want to keep coming back to! Ask for angel & josh :) Angel makes the best margaritas I've ever had!

Josh is the greatest bartender alive. He gives great suggestions on drinks, which is really helpful for a newbie like me. Also has cool fun alcohol-related facts such as Guinness being the only beer in Europe required to be served cold.

Really great service! The food is fantastic!! Loved the falafel, pita & Tzatziki. Really fair prices.

The food arrived PERFECT! Top of the line sandwiches and salads for a small group of us. Fresh ingredients. Perfect flavors. Yummy stuff!!

Lou Has is the best bar in EL! The workers are always super nice and the drinks/food is always delicious! I bring all of my friends here when they're visiting and they have the best time. Highly recommend! Out of all the bars in East Lansing, come to Lou Has!!

Lou and Harry's has the best food of all the East Lansing Bars, hands down. The combination of american bar food with some Mediterranean options (Gyros, Chicken Shish and Pita Wraps) is amazing. Over the years, I've had every single item on the menu and nothing disappoints. The grill is also fast, having most menu items made in 5 minutes. The bar is very small and gets too crowded on weekend nights, but offer great daily deals and is a fun time. Top tier Bar/Grill in East Lansing.

Lou and Harry's is my favorite bar in east lansing. Angel and josh are always welcoming with both manning the bar most night. I've asked who cooked my foods several times and it was Matt and it's always perfect. Evan always does a great job treating us like family aa well all around it's a good time and you're always treated right!

Great service, relaxed and professional atmosphere. Food is a solid 9/10 and service is one that other bars in the area should mimic. Cooks make great food, and the management is professional and knows the area is coming back stronger than before. Highly recommend to stop here and Download LineLeap to get in at your desired time.

Lou and Harry's has some great lunch deals. M & W a gyro with fries or salad (the house salad is delicious!!). T & Th a burger lunch deal!! Highly recommend!!! Staff is friendly and attentive! Fun place to hangout, great music, and pool in the back (bring quarters)!

I think people need to be a little more understanding and fair of small businesses trying to survive and bounce back after Covid. I see some of the complaints on here and feel they may be a little unfair and unjust.

I do not have my view based on bias but this is one of the best bars in town that has a wonderful atmosphere, great staff and amazing food.

These people work crazy long hours and have so much on their plate because right now... no one wants to work. All bars and most small businesses are hiring for all positions and people are either being hired and then quitting... because they don't want to work... which in turn is making bars/restaurants standards have to be adjusted to just be able to provide their service in the first place.

Instead of complaining about your service or some minor mistakes, maybe consider being a little empathetic and understanding what the people in the workforce are actually going through before you decide to complain about your service.

I rate Lou and Harry's a 10/10 because they are doing their best to make sure they give you the best they can with what they have available to do so with and even though it may not meet an individual standard, it may be the individual standard that needs to be adjusted given the times that we are currently going through.

Empathy and understanding go a long way for the people in the service industry who pull 10 sometimes 20 hour days.

I've always came in here late when it was just to party. But stopped in randomly on a Sunday. Let me tell you they have absolutely amazing food. Genuinely was really surprised with how good it was. Get their spicy fried pickles chips they won't disappoint

Best Greek salads in the area, gyros, baklava, and fries are solid too. Awesome staff- Shane, Taylor, Josh, Dequan everyone is super nice. Good beer selection and the mules are great too!

Friendly staff and GREAT prices! Their draft beer menu was more unique compared to most in Downtown East Lansing. I will definitely be returning, and ordering Grubhub!

Ordered delivery. The restaurant took a little long to prepare but the uber driver was able to get it to me still warm. Both my friends order and mine was made perfectly. No issues. I saw a lot of negative reviews and I'd like to thing my orders quality is a reflection of change. For what it is that the price its definitely not bad.

Always a staple when we go see our daughter at MSU. Food is great, atmosphere is fun. Staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome

Great time at Lou & Harry's. Great to see them and some of the other East Lansing bars and eateries back open. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was awesome. The staff was friendly and quick and did a great job. Looking forward to my next visit back to Lou Ha's!

Gyros are the best thing for sure, and they are constantly trying new things as far as menu variations.

Owners are especially awesome, even more so to people they recognize. Always friendly, and warm to most who walk through the door.

Excellent house made hummus and chili but the fry with feta and greek dressing were the bomb. Service and atmosphere were also great. My one complaint is all the seating is pub height.
